Siva S. Yegnanarayanan

Dr. Siva S. Yegnanarayanan is a technical staff member in the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group, where he is currently pursuing research in advanced microwave photonics subsystems based on emerging integrated photonic device technologies.

Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, Yegnanarayanan worked at Georgia Institute of Technology, leading research projects in the area of silicon-based nanophotonic devices for optical information processing and biomedical sensing.

Yegnanarayanan has published 42 journal papers and is inventor or co-inventor on eight issued patents. Recently, he served on the technical program committee of the 2012 IEEE International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics and presented at the 2012 Avionics, Fiber-Optics and Photonics Conference.

Yegnanarayanan holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
